General Non-Monetary Gifts
If desired, you can designate your gift for general use by the foundation. Some examples are vehicles, racing memorabilia, race cars, playground equipment, etc.
Honor and Memorial Gifts
Honor loved ones, living or deceased, with a gift. This gift will enable the LP Foundation to fulfill its mission to help children with medical bills and students with scholarships by designating your contribution “in honor of” or “in memory of” a loved one.
This is a very popular tribute which can help others and, at the same time, acknowledge your special person.
Planned Gifts
Structured payments can be made on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Matching Gifts
Corporate matching gifts can be made.
Gifts of Stock
Individuals can elect to contribute gifts of stocks from publicly traded companies. The Larry Phillips Foundation benefits through the liquidation of assets at fair market value.
Bequest
A gift made through a will, life insurance, or retirement account policy can specify either a fixed amount or a percentage of the estate.
Planned Giving
Through long range individual and family planning, it is possible to make a substantial impact while providing valuable tax benefits that may include the reduction of taxable income and the elimination of capital gains. Planned gifts may enable donors to pass assets to family members at a reduced rate and, in some cases, may be structured to increase current income. Charitable Remainder Trust
This is a gift that makes a fixed amount payment or a percentage of trust principal to the beneficiary of choice at the end of the term. The LP Foundation receives any funds that remain in the trust.
Charitable Lead Trust
This is trust that makes either a fixed amount payment or percentage of principal to the LP Foundation during its term. At the end of the term, the principal can either be returned to the donor or the donor’s heirs at a non-guarantor lead trust.
